When you book with Yatra To Temples, you aren't just buying a ticket; you are entering a partnership based on trust. These terms ensure that your spiritual journey is protected, transparent, and grounded in reality. By submitting our booking form, you agree to the following guidelines between you and Yatra To Temples.

  1. Reservation & Deposit
  • Since seats are limited on our Char Dham Yatra, Adi Kailash and Kailash Mansarovar Tour, we require a completed booking form and a non-refundable advance deposit to lock your slot.
  • For Kailash Mansarovar: We require INR 15,000 (Indian citizens) or USD 300 (International travellers).
  • For Chardham and Other Shrines: The deposit is INR 10,000 or 20% of your total package cost - whichever happens to be higher. This covers the initial permits and logistics we start booking the moment you say "yes."

  1. Payments and the USD Exchange Rate
  • We need your full balance cleared at least 30 days before you depart. If the funds aren't in, we simply can’t finalize your mountain transport or permits, which means the journey can’t start.
  • A quick note on currency: For international routes, our costs are linked to the US dollar. We pin our prices to a base rate of 1 USD = 90 INR. If the exchange rate climbs significantly before your departure, the difference will be reflected as a minor adjustment on your final invoice. We hate doing it, but it’s the only way to keep the logistics running.

  1. When Life Happens (Changing Your Plans)

We get it - plans change and emergencies pop up. If you need to shift your dates or tweak your booking, just send it to us in writing. If you tell us at least 60 days before departure, things usually go pretty smoothly. However, anything later than that requires a massive amount of rework with our ground partners, so a small admin fee of INR 4,600 (USD 50) will apply to cover those costs.

  1. Cancellation and Refund

While we want every pilgrim to have a perfect experience, things like sudden weather shifts, strikes, or government lockdowns are totally out of our hands. If you absolutely have to cancel, here is the breakdown:

  • 90 – 150 Days Out: You get a full refund, minus that initial non-refundable deposit.
  • 30 – 90 Days Out: We can refund 75% of your total amount (minus the deposit).
  • Under 30 Days: At this point, all your funds are already committed to hotels and mountain transport. We cannot issue any refunds for personal cancellations this close to the date.
  • How Long it Takes: Once a refund is approved, it takes about 15 working days to hit your account, starting from the day we receive your cancelled cheque.

  1. Your Health is Our Priority

By booking, you certify that you are mentally and physically fit for the journey. Pilgrimage travel can be demanding. You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions. We reserve the right to prioritize your safety, which may include asking for a doctor's clearance for high-altitude treks.

  1. The Reality of the Path: Changes, Safety, and Your Responsibility

When you head out on a Yatra to high-altitude icons like Kailash Mansarovar or the Chardham, you have to accept that the mountains make the final call. At Yatra To Temples, we don’t gamble with your life. Your safety is our only real priority. Because of that,

we reserve the rights:

  • If the road ahead looks dangerous or a border closes, we might change your departure or return dates. It’s better to arrive late than to take a risk that isn't worth it.
  • We reserve the right to change any part of the journey or the specific objectives we’ve set. If a path is blocked, we don’t just give up; we’ll find an equivalent way to ensure your Darshan continues without compromising anyone's security.
  • Mountain weather changes in minutes. Whether it’s sudden heavy snow, icy tracks, or political shifts, we have the final say on postponing or cancelling parts of the tour. This also applies if a third party fails to deliver or if a government body issues a travel warning.
  • If a change, delay, or total cancellation happens because of "Acts of God" (landslides, weather) or external threats, you acknowledge that there is no right to a refund. Yatra To Temples (and our parent entity Trekkaro Adventures Pvt. Ltd.) cannot be held liable for compensation regarding injuries, losses, or extra expenses that pop up because of these unavoidable shifts.
  • While on the road, our team’s word is final. If there’s a dispute or a tough call to make regarding the route, our decision stands. This is about group safety, plain and simple.
  • If your Yatra crosses into Nepal or China, you must follow every rule set by their authorities. There is no room for error in international permits or border formalities.
  • This is a firm line. Carrying illegal drugs, political pamphlets, weapons, or propaganda is strictly forbidden. If you are found with any of these, you’ll be excluded from the tour immediately. No second chances, and definitely no refunds.

  1. Insurance

We don’t include personal travel insurance in our package prices. It’s entirely on you to make sure you are covered from the moment you leave your front door until you get back. Whether it’s a sudden illness, an injury, or even lost luggage, you need that safety net. We want you to have total peace of mind so that if something goes wrong, you aren't stuck with a massive financial burden.

  1. Dealing with Airlines

We are a travel team, not an airline. If a carrier decides to cancel flight or change their schedule at the last minute, that is simply out of our hands. While we will do our absolute best to help you find a workaround, an airline’s decision doesn't count as a "cancellation" by our team. We’ll try to accommodate the shift, but those schedules are a legal world apart from our commitments to you.

  1. Yatra Prices

Our prices aren't just pulled out of thin air. They are based on what things cost right now - fuel, airfares, and exchange rates. At Yatra ToTemples, we genuinely hate the idea of raising prices on our pilgrims. However, sometimes things like a spike in global fuel costs or a sudden drop in the Rupee's value are unavoidable. We reserve the right to adjust the trip cost if these external factors go crazy. If we have to make a change, we’ll let you know well before you head out.

  1. Traveling at Your Own Risk

By joining us, you’re acknowledging that pilgrimage travel - especially in the rugged mountains - comes with inherent risks. You’re agreeing to follow the terms we have laid out here. If there is an accident, a political mess, or a weather disaster, you agree that Yatra To Temples and our staff aren't liable for the loss. You are making this journey by your own choice and at your own risk, and we expect everyone to be prepared for the realities of the road.

  1. Our Right to Stay in Touch

If you ask a question on our site, you are basically giving us the green light to contact you. We will use phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp, or email to keep you updated on your booking, your payments, or any urgent travel alerts. This isn't "unsolicited" spam; it’s transactional info meant to help you get your tour finalized. By giving us your details, you’re authorizing these updates under TRAI rules and promising us that the contact info you gave is actually yours.

  1. Refund Process

If a refund is approved, please don't expect it to hit your bank account the very next day. These things take time to process properly. Generally, it will take about fifteen (15) days from the time we receive your written request and your cancelled cheque details. we do this to ensure there is a clear, legal paper trail for everyone’s protection.
